This weekend's theme seems to be things made and more importantly, things finished! I began a project many (4 or 5ish) years ago. I have not finished piecing the top yet but I'm nearly there. I finished piecing the 20 log cabin blocks for the border. I'm rather proud of that.
My sister did finish her quilt top. The center is not a panel! She took a piece of muslin fabric and fused snippets of various colored fabric. Then she put a fine netting over it. She thread painted over it. The border is a new variation on stack-n-wack.
The third picture is of Levi and I ready for church. Levi is sporting his new tie that his Nana made for him. The button is a lion. I am wearing a crocheted infinity scarf that I made.

Weekend of fun!
Levi "helped" me clean the bathroom. He took a bunch of stuff out from the cabinet that is usually locked. At least I got the counter cleaned off.
Saturday we too Levi, E, and B to my dad's farm. They ran around and had fun. On the way back they, of course, all 3 fell asleep.

Levi lately...
Levi has learned to run...FAST. So I have not posted much lately since I spend all my time chasing him, working grading massive piles of student work, and occasionally trying to get caught up on laundry.
I am amazed at how quickly he is growing and learning! I recieved text from my mother in law, who is watching him today, he went pee pee in the potty today! Jesse and I hadn't planned to start potty training until he was at least 2 years old if not older. Now we are scrambling to get a training potty and books on how to do this, since he is showing an interest in it.
