We took a trip to the Dallas Arboretum last weekend. I wanted to go see all the flowers during the spring.
Plus they were having an Art Festival. Nancy Medina is an amazing artist whose blog I follow; she had a booth there. I went to be able to meet her and see her work in person. One day (when money is not so tight and jobs are not in limbo) I will buy one of her flower paintings for our living room. I adore her style!
Lastly we went to take maternity pictures of Jesse and I, while I small enough that I was still able to walk around.
This is a snippet of all the tulips and people that were EVERYWHERE!
I don't remember what these were called but they were pretty.
These are a variety of tulips! I wish I knew where I could buy this variety.
Looks like Easter to me!
I think I will have to get this photo printed and framed for my living room wall.
I love the shade of peach and pink here.
Star shaped tulips.
These cherry blossom trees were snowing flower petals everywhere!
My sister was kind enough to be our photographer for those pictures. (Jesse and I took all the other photos.)
For this picture there was a photographer that kept telling the child she was photographing to move into our shot. How RUDE. I cropped the child out of the picture.
This is Elizabeth (2 1/2yrs old)
Here we have Benjamin (9 months old) and Liz.
I have no idea what this face was all about but I caught it. Isn't that the cutest face ever!
I love how Ben is looking up at his big sister.
I don't know how many miles we walked but it was fun!
