I made an ironing board!

After years of wishing, I finally made a large rectangular ironing board!

I'm getting caught up on my Pat Sloan BOM.

2nd Birthday Party!

Since Levi, Elizabeth, and Benjamin all have birthdays within one month of each other, we have decided to have a joint birthday party. Last Saturday all the family came over to celebrate with us.

We had a Monster theme: Cookie Monster, Sully from Monsters Inc., and Mike from Monsters Inc.

Brushing teeth

Levi loves to brush his teeth. A few days ago he and I were brushing our teeth in the morning. He watched me very closely as I spit into the sink. I had visions of his 2 years old party in 2 weeks, with him spitting out the candles instead of blowing them out!

So he stopped brushing, leaned over the sink like I did, and...coughed instead of spit. I laughed from the joy of knowing that my boy has not yet learned to spit!

Eisenhower State Park

We went to Eisenhower State Park this weekend. Levi loved running around. He wasn't so sure about the lake waves though. He wanted to play in the water and wet sand but wasn't sure what to make of the water that moved by itself. Levi wore us out in a few hours and we headed home.

Power nap

My son got a power nap in on his way to lunch. Truth be told, he slept through most of lunch in my lap.
